Well, hello, folks! What better way to introduce myself than with a nice little story?
I picked up New Leaf last Friday, and was immediately impressed. After getting over the joy of not having to work for Tom Nook, my first day in town went off without a hitch. Made some friends, made some Bells, mission accomplished. First thing the second day, I bought a second shovel and buried it. It was only a few hours later that some lurking on these very forums kindly informed me that the golden shovel is now acquired by buying fertilizer. You had me programmed well, Nintendo.
Anyhow, this certainly looks like a friendly bunch, and I look forward to my stay here!
