I once adopted (and still have) my first Ruby in my town of Corvidae. She came from a town named Whiskey and the letters are in some awful font. Every time she mentions her old town, I cringe a bit. Makes her seem that she came from a town of drinkers, lol. But she is my co-mayor of Corvidae (along with her partner in crime, Del) and I would never move her to another town. She has been with me since the first week I made Corvidae. To see her anywhere else would make me feel sad, I think.

Honestly if it was that bad I would not only cancel the deal but also report them in hopes that no one else ends up in that situation. They really shouldn't go making people pay to deal with villagers repeating vulgarity, especially since to correct it you would need to go through the hassle to cycle them out and back in...

I don't necessarily trade villagers. I add ppl just to make friends and those who I trust with my town. I wouldn't want someone from Hell either lol

People should really give heads up about their town and Mayor's names, I've never had a villager prattle on and on about where they used to be from, but if you're going to cycle for people, get a second copy with a more appropriate name. It's just more respectful to the adopter.
Because that's your reputation, (and shows your mindset). "Never mind, perv, I'll wait for them to show up in my tent."

I remember I got a villager from spotpass or streetpass whichever one it is. I kinda miss her. She was Cally from Buttsnif lol! The goofiness of it kinda grew on me.

I've been lucky and haven't come across this in acnl - but then I don't usually wifi. But its's not nice.
I have 3 villagers (in 3 different towns) that came in as 10th villagers from stranger streetpass - (Whitney came from Sam town, can't remember for the other two). My experience has been they very rarely mention the town or sing their town tune. Which seems to go against what other players report, but truly, these 3 villagers hardly ever mention where they came from.
So it might not be too bad.

I have had a very rude Mii in Mii plaza - have to admire the inventiveness, not sure how they managed to do what they did (it was in 2011 or 2012; I was in HMV, London at a Kid Icarus competition & saw 2 teenage boys fairly near me laughing - I suspect the Mii was from one of them, 100% really, given they were watching to see how I would react). Deleted.
