I played these games since Wild World came out. Before New Horizons came out I thought of joining here, since it seemed like such a big entry, but I was too anxious. Kinda regret that I didn’t join sooner, I made some nice memories on this game (and even New Leaf, found the forum during those days) and it would have been nice reminiscing about them here.

Well, I find myself spending more time than ever on NH, so I decided I’d finally join. I’m also just looking for new people to spend time with. I’m pretty shy, but once I chat a bit with someone I’d love to share my island. It’s still fairly unfinished nearly 1000 hours in and I’ve decided to revamp some parts of it anyway, but hopefully I can make memories with more people now!

I pretty much enjoy GameCube, New Leaf and New Horizons but I just play New Horizons these days. As much as I like New Leaf there’s some stuff I find hard to return to there and I just don’t have a great town or one I’m very attached to anymore on that game. I love the GameCube game but I feel like playing a more decorative (and to an extent, social) style of game recently. I won’t prattle about the games in this post, point is, I just play New Horizons online when I am playing AC online. If I got along with someone, I’d be willing to play New Leaf for the heck of it though.

Hopefully I can get myself to hang around here instead of being too anxious or something, cya!

Is Tammi your favourite villager or do you have another favourite?

Are you still playing your first island on New Horizons or have you restarted before? I'm still on my first island, but I know some people like to restart!

I don’t think I have a set in stone favorite haha. I just put Tammi there because I think she’s really unappreciated. I know people find her eyes creepy but maybe I like that touch of ”creepiness”, I always thought it looked kinda more wild or something? It’s hard to explain how I feel about that but never stood out as creepy to me. And her expressions are cute anyway, I really like the monkey model and how it animates in all the games tbh. I don’t think all of them have great designs, but I think the curly tail and head shape next to the other proportions are fun.

Never restarted on NH, too much commitment lol. I’ve restarted on all the other games but I can’t really do anything I feel would replicate my current NH island and I can’t see myself resetting this game even when I “finish” it. I’ve made multiple towns on all the other games though.

I agree about the commitment. I don't think I'd have the motivation to collect all the DIYs, fill my catalogue, fill my museum and decorate my island all over again!

I actually think Tammi is so cute, and she has a great design. She's probably my favourite monkey!
