omggg someone has asked to move out from my first 5 villagers
PicsArt_05-15-10.20.23.jpg

and it's freaking LOLLY why? Like she's the one I'm considering on keeping the most out of my first 5 and now she wants to leave :(
I mean I could get her again for a better house interior but do you think it's worth it?

I think the random chance of finding her is too low. I'll keep one of my starters but only because I don't really prefer his actual interior.

honestly, no. lolly is a popular villager, so it may be harder to get her again. if there's a cycling town that's willing to hold onto her until you get a free space, then sure, but otherwise i would let her stay

If you really want her actual home interior and have a friend or someone else who can help you move her, then go ahead. Otherwise, I'd suggest you keep her around. I've let most of my initial villagers (only 3 so far have moved out) because I wasn't particularly attached to them and I eventually got tired of seeing those default/personality homes.

it's mostly because of the starting interior, but I have decided now and stopped her from moving out since I agree on it being hard to get her again, thanks for the input guys lol helped me decide

I don't have a friend currently playing unfortunately but I decided to keep her now lol since it'll be a pain to find her again for sure

Maybe Nintendo will add a way to upgrade our starters' houses, we can't really know that now.

Yea finding cats on NMT is a pain due to the species first roll and with like 25 cats the chances of finding her again is low, the only cat I've ever seen is Raymond (funny coincidence) so I would keep her unless you have her amiibo!

You could also try posting in hold my villager, so you can get her upgraded house you progress further and can 'sell' more land :)~

Sometimes I feel giving and offer to amiibo cycle villagers that people want to swap out to get their original house exteriors/interiors. I have Lolly's amiibo, so if you're interested just DM me. It's nearly 3:40am where I live currently and I'm going to bed - but she won't be gone for a couple days anyway if you don't TT so could just plan around that!

Yeah and I was so lucky to have her as a random move in, hopefully Nintendo does add a way to upgrade their houses, because the starting houses are so boring which is sad especially the starting 2

I have decided to let her stay atm tho, but if ever she does want to leave again I'll definitely remember your offer, thank you :D

Do you have her Amiibo? If not, I would just keep her. Unless you want to go through the hassle of auctions or NM Island hopping, if you want her as a permanent stay, don't let her go!

You can keep her, unless if you have her amiibo, cats are the hardest to come by because there is so many in the game.

Tell her not to move and she'll be able to stay! Her regular interior is tempting, but if you don't have a friend to hold her for you it's going to be really hard to find her.

I also wonder if nintendo will add an update where villagers do randomly move again lol

Don't speak that into existence!! That was my absolute number 1 gripe about New Leaf. All of the anxiety every new day playing, or even worse if forgetting to play for a few days (or being busy). I hope they always make sure the villagers have to get our permission before they leave.

Agreed, I actually like that now villagers leave only if you approve it makes kt easier to keep all your dream villagers!

Me too. I like keeping them. I feel like the developers haven’t made consequences for TTing bad this time.
