So I was plot resetting and I stopped for the night. But I didn't know the stupid military time and I wanted to go to 10:00 am. When I woke up it was November 6th 1am. So if I go to school I'll get a sucky location but if I TT back any further would the plot be set? I started resetting yesterday.

Not exactly sure I understand the question, but since it is Nov 6th, 1 AM in your town, I'm guessing you wanted your town to be on Nov. 5, since that is when you last played?

Good news: If you're able to plot reset right now, you should still be good. Even though the calendar date is the 6th, the game doesn't really register a new day until 6 AM. You would be able to plot reset until then.

Bad news: If you wind up having to play after school (i.e., hours from now), your game will have officially turned over to the new day (the 6th). Since you are plot resetting, which requires a new character, you can't set your in-game clock. (Perhaps you could alter the 3DS clock itself to fix the date, but I never do that, so I don't know for sure.)

Yes, exactly.

My 3ds clock is a couple hours ahead, but if i go to the 5th would he have a home?

I wouldn't change the date. In order to change your in-game date or time back to the 5th (without messing with the 3DS clock, which I really have no experience with), you'd need load up as your mayor character. If you did that, then you couldn't plot reset. Your villager would have a home, if it's someone you've invited in specifically, but you wouldn't be able to choose where, because you'd already have loaded your game as the mayor. Since your game is already on the 6th, if you can plot reset and finalize before 6 AM, you're still good.

You could try and set the 3DS time back to the 5th, but I can't guarantee it will work for your needs.

Don't load the game after school. If you load as an existing character, your game state will be locked in. That means you won't be able to change anything. If you need to check your town for some reason, use a new character and quit without saving.

Change your 3DS clock to sometime after 6 AM on the 5th or before 6 AM on the 6th. I can guarantee that changing your 3DS clock works because that's what I always do. It just tricks the game into thinking no time has passed. You can even go to your activity log and see the exact hour when you last played and set it to some point after that.

The only downside of using your 3DS clock is that will make your activity log include inaccurate data and some of your other games might count it as TT and lock some features (if you have any games that do that).
