I want to restart my town. Should I do it?
- Well really because my three of my dreamies (Beau and Fauna and Blanche) are plotted conviently together and Deirdre are randomly plotted right behind my house.
-My house is I the most inconvenient space ever
-Gross Map with too much skinny strips
-Gross Names
-Square Grass ;-;
-Brown Train Station
-Blue Town Hall. ew
-Inconvienient Re-Tail

Why I don't want to:
-I obtained 4 dreamies ;-;
-I am pretty far in the game, and have a lot of items
If I reset, I would lose everything.

Should I do it ;-;

I would at least sleep on it? Possibly ask in the forums about landscaping advice, too. I know your pain about too many skinny parts of the map. I'm curious to see your map though.

Also, visiting a ton of dream towns can be really great because you can see what other people did with their skinny strip areas. It helped me, anyway.

It becomes skinny because of the Retail, and the river D:

If you really want to I can hold some items for you / help you with fruit and start up items.
I find once you get it into your head that you want to restart its really hard not to! It's why I ended up purchasing a second copy of the game.

Word. My river wraps all over and around my town. Well, if you decide to restart, at least have someone hold your dreamies and such. I just don't want you to have any regrets D:

4 dreamies arent THAT much, if you dislike the rest of your town that much, i'd do it
also, one of them isnt plotted nicely, right?
you can ask people to hold your stuff.

-Brown Train Station
-Blue Town Hall. ew

you'll unlock the updates eventually so that wouldnt be a main reason, but if your map isnt nice and you have a dreamie in a bad spot and only 4 obtained in total it seems okay.

i could also give you baskets of all fruit, let you dump items etc.

Send me a PM if you want help restarting, always happy to help :blush:

Yay! Thank you but I haven't planned out anything yet, so I should restart at least one week later c:

But I hope you are available on 6-9pm UTC+10 everyday except Thursday c:

Four dreamies isn't a lot, if it was like 5 then I would say don't reset. But if you truly feel lie doing it you should! But make sure it's a map that you like and maybe plan out what goes where so that way theres no conflits. Get you dreamies and permanent PWP's down before laying down gardens and pathes here and there.

I think maybe you should... have someone help transfer your items and hold your villagers/reserve your dreamies. Now that you know more about the game and more about what you want, you can be pickier about a town map and name and what your character looks like and things like that. :] good luck!

i'd say do it. you can always get your villagers back, especially if you are quick when your town is new, and if you're worried about items you could ask someone to hold some stuff for you when u reset.

Sadly, I have 10 villagers. So I can't hold your dreamies. But I'd be more than willing to help you back up on your feet! I have a few baskets of perfect cherries and if your native fruit isn't a cherry, you can have them.

That's what happened to me, I hated my town so I reset. I LOVE my town now. I r set it about 5 weeks ago and I have all the stores unlocked. Also you can ask a friend to store your items in there town so that when you get the new town you will have your money and your stuff back.

I'd do it. I restarted after I got all my dreamies, did my dream town, completed my museum, got all the upgrades etc. and I don't regret it at all. I bought art/fossils on the site so I didn't have to track them all down the old fashioned way again and I reset for dreamies. My new town was already pretty great after just a few days. Really not as world-ending of an experience as I expected.

I would say go for it.
When I resetted I was afraid of the lost items and achivements. But I got them again. You can get your dreamies again, by cycling or someone can hold them for you. As for regional and dlc items someone can hold them for you, you can trade or buy them on here or on tumblr, I think.
ACNL should be fun for you, so.
Right now I'm cycling, so I can hold one or two villagers for you. I can hold items for you too, or give them.
