im having huge trouble finding tarantulas and scorpions....i would like some help from people who have found them to tell me their experiences so i can get some they are the only ones im missing that arnt in fall or winter
I don't know, they're just on the floor sometimes at night. I've not seen them as common but they aren't exactly rare either. Do you have the volume on? In my experience they make a scuttling sort of sound. Just stay outside and they'll eventually turn up, just make sure to sneak and don't let them get you.
Make sure you're constantly crouching when you see one. It's best to approach them from the back.
From personal experience, Tarantulas and Scorpions tend to show up near empty areas near the river.
Yo a tarantula showed up on my screen last night and I ****ing BOLTED that little effer scared the shiet out of me like you wouldn't believe.
I've yet to see a scorpion but when I do I hope he at least plays some rock ballads for me first.
Best strategy is to have your volume up, listen for the scuttling, and have your net out and ready. Also be prepped to -sneak- like crazy.
I saw a scorpion twice and believe me catching it was the last thing on my mind. Both times I tried to catch it and then it attacked and I ended up being caught and being scared out of my wits. Seriously considering getting someone else to catch one and donate it to my museum(can you even do that?) But my advice is to stay calm if you see one (and don't hold your net and just stand there, stay in sneak mode) believe me, calmness can make a difference.
