Help with Digby amiibo

every time i use my digby amiibo, it says digby is too busy to hang out and to try again later, ive time traveled to almost every possible day digby would be free but it always says the same thing. anyone know how to make a digby amiibo work??

I never had this problem. I just used him like I used the others and it worked. Are you using a card or figure? I used the figure, cuz cards don't summon RVs...

i had this problem with the lottie amiibo and it turns out i had to go speak with her at nook's homes, no clue why this would happen with digby though...unless there's some update to the HH showcase.

That's odd. I never seen someone have problems with this. If the person way above me is correct, then it must the the right answer.

I had this exact problem last night with both Digby and Celeste. Turns out, I've never properly introduced myself to Digby. It's not enough to talk to him and decline his explanation. You need to let him explain what he has to explain and you'll be able to summon him after. As for Celeste, I don't have her in my Museum since I just recently sold my town, so I'll have to wait to properly introduce myself to her. ;v;

Spotpass has got to be reactivated after the update so that makes sense.

I had this problem even after him knowing who I am and Spotpass enabled. So, I turned off Spotpass and Streetpass then turned it back on. It made him forget who I was (sadface) but now his RV is here!
