Help with bushes

Hey guys. I need help with some bushes. i have 12 planted all in a rectangle, and since i cant plant any more, i cant do anything with it. help me decide what i should do.

Ok. I'll fill it with hybrids. are there other ways to barrier that part missing 3 bushes up top?

You could add 4 trees on the corner and then fill the other spots with bushes (if what you wanted was to square it off)? Or 2 trees at the top as an entrance (2 spaces in between the trees) and fill the middle with flowers/other? xD

Make a pond on the inside...

Just have two sides of the rectangle or something, like one on top and one on bottom, so on and so forth. Or, you could have a grove of trees in that spot instead.

ok so i squared it off with perfect pear trees. i should be able to grow more bushes right?

you'd have to redo the bush planting, but using chopped bamboo for barricades in conjunction wih the bushes could work as well

maybe something like

bBBBBb
BccccB
BccccB
BccccB
bBBBBb

b=chopped bamboo
B=bush
c=empty space

leave opening wherever if desired

I think this would work at least (or at least up until the last square, then the game might not let you block off), someone correct me if I'm wrong

Why can't u have more bushes?

I believe bushes can only grow in a connection of 12 at most. If you try to plant a 13th plant (whether it is a tree, bush or bamboo) near the 12 connection sequence, the 13th plant won't grow (if it's touching the sequence).

(see pic), just a quick illustration I found online. It helped me to understand the sequence. The pattern doesn't necessarily have to be what's shown in the image.
