Help with amiibo villager?

Hello!!!

I bought a Marshal amiibo card and I got him at my campsite currently. The thing is, I don’t know how to proceed.. he asks for one thing then that’s it. He rejects to move in and he says he leaves by the end of the day.. I’m not sure what else to do.

If anyone could write out or link a specific guide, that’d be appreciated, pretty sure I’m watching outdated youtube videos cause they don’t make sense

You must have an open plot...OR...10 villagers.

Do their DIY each day, and ask them to move in each day. On the 3rd day they will agree.

A. If you have an open plot, they will take it.
B. If you have 10 villagers, they will ask you who to kick out.
