Help With A European Neighborhood (Villagers, Yards, etc.)

Oh wow! He's a Jock villager too. Hmm, I'll look into it. I don't just want to get villagers because they fit the theme. I want to get them because I like them and they somewhat fit the theme.
He's in my town and I love him, but I agree you should get villagers you like. He's so smol and then he talks about his muscles and patrolling the island and he's always working out (he's got fitness as his hobby). He also has a curly mustache that is very Fronch. (Fronch here meaning American stereotypes of French people.)

What European country would Goldie best fit with? Someone mentioned her and she is so cute! 😍 Also, why hasn't anyone mentioned Tia? I just realized that she's perfect for the theme!

I would say Scotland! According to Wikipedia, Golden Retrievers originate from Scotland, and I really think Goldie could pull off a cute tartan dress! :)

Oh that's cute! Does anyone have any furniture recommendations that scream Scottish?

Log furniture seems Scottish to me. In fact you can customize it to have plaid on it, which is what many people think of what Scotland is known for. Also, pretty sure audie is based upon Audrey Hepburn who was Belgian and whitney's attire looks Russian in her poster.

I actually have Audie, but I put her on the beach. I'll look into Whitney though. Oh thanks for telling me about the log furniture. I forgot you could customize it like that.

Just out of curiosity, what does a European Neighbourhood look like?
That's what this thread is for! 😂

Another possible french female (if you don't specifically want a rooster) would be Lolly. Her catchphrase is "bon bon", which is adorable in of itself

Thank guys for all your help. If anyone has any other suggestions please feel free to share! 😊

Summary/Considering...

France:
  • Gaston
  • Cousteau
  • Lolly
  • Benedict
  • Goose
  • Soleil
  • Bree
UK:
  • Sterling
  • Goldie (Scotland)
Russia:
  • Vladimir
  • Whitney
Scandinavia:
  • Vic
Spain:
  • Olaf
Greece:
  • Klaus

Now that I think of it Chadder could also work very well with France.
He looks like cheese, we have the best cheese of the world, and his catchphrase is "fromage" which means... cheese in french lol

Merengue makes me think of France even though her name is Spanish. She’s supposed to be meringue which is a French dessert I believe!

How did Jacques get missed? He's definitely French. Croque too. Cyrano. Gigi. Marcel.

Anicotti - name and catchphrase come from Italian food. Pancetti is from italian food also.

Bam always makes me think of a European football player.

Beau seems scandinavian to me.

Cyd is a british punk if I ever met one!

Gruff is from a Norwegian fairy tale.

Hans is german.

Pietro is an italian name and he is inspired by pierrot (italian origins)

Shep is an old english sheepdog

I know she has been mentioned already, but Tia is the epitome of afternoon tea!

Roman I believe? Hence his bathhouse. But with German fusion lol (name + catchphrase strudel...)
Actually Klaus seems to be more Greek than Roman.
His Japanese name is Kumarosu/Kumallus from くま (kuma, bear), it's a reference to Crates of Mallus, a greek philosopher.
And his English name is a reference to the "claws" of a bear and is derived from the greek Nikoloas.

Also Vesta could fit the Roman or Greek theme very well, Vesta is the roman goddess of hearth, fire and family - Hestia is the original greek name of Vesta.

Maelle would be a really great choice I think (provided you like her design). Her house is cafe-themed and she is into fashion I think too.
