Help - Trapped on the International Island

When I used to island hop for items that happened to me sometimes. I couldn't leave because someone was trying to get me to play a tour with them without asking. I would either tell them that I didn't want to play and wait for them to hopefully cancel, or just play with them if I needed medals.

It happened to me once and I didn't realize she was trolling me. It had never happened to me before, so I was super confused lol

After 15minutes of waiting, after she told me that I sucked, only then did the light bulb turn on.

What's with the title. You obviously don't need help if you said you shut off the wifi/3DS. I don't Beetle Hunt on the Island anymore (I used to do it by putting a tour then beetle hunt because I don't want to destroy my island). So I just say something like, "I'll give you ____ if you we do a tour/I'll give you ___". Then I either stand up before the tour starts or shut off the wifi after I give them it.
