Help! I need to make a signature shop, but the sprites won't work!

So, I know you can use sprites and all but, when I tried getting it on "PAINT" it came out like this:



Why is this? how do I get rid of it?

Did you try putting it to the side, using the bucket to make it white, and then using the crop > transparent?
