HELP! Dreamie rumored to move, won't ping! :(

My Savannah has been rumored to move by Knox, and knowing that rumors about moving villagers are true (right?), I panic and run to Savannah, and she isn't saying anything about moving!
I try giving her space (making sure I stay out of her sight and all), and won't ping!
I don't want her gone, what do I do??

Talk to her, and then save and quit. It might take a few times, but she'll eventually ping.

If your willing to TT I usually TT around 10 min and then look for her again

Just keep talking to her, leave, then come back to her to see if she pings. She'll eventually tell you.

Save & quitting is an easy way to get them to ping, no TT required.

Save and quit, then get back on and walk in front of her (without talking to her first). She should ping

What I usually do is trap a villager by digging holes around them, then I go somewhere else where I will stay out of sight of villagers (like at the beach) and wait. Then after a bit, I go to see if they ping. if they don't rinse and repeat until they ping you about moving.

or you just save and quit too until they ping

Also trying calling her with the megaphone, if you have it, to get her to ping you.
