Welcome to the community. Here's a basic tip: We're a friendly bunch so if you need help, wanna make friends for multiplayer, etc, just make sure to ask and people will come around and help.

Also, can you give me the rundown on how to earn bells on this site? Seen a couple of people talking about it and i'm basically a n00b, so i'd appreciate the guidance lol.

Lol I honestly have no clue. I usually just post in threads I guess the bell count increases? xD I never really thought about how the bell earning process works.

Welcome to the forums! Ways to make bells are: You can post. Posting earns you bells! One post per tbt I believe. Another way is by selling site collectibles/villagers/items in game. You can also do things like raffles, raffling off collectibles and letting people pay for entry tickets with tbt. On your birthday you make 79~ish bells (I think, sorry if I’m wrong! It’s been awhile since my last birthday). Basically more frequent use of the site/game = more tbt (tbt is the name of the currency. also sometimes btb, bell tree bells). Good luck making tbt!

Sorry for late reply^^ What I do is click the bell amount on their sidebar and a little window pops up, just put in a number and send and they receive instantly!
