Any way I can get hedges in the game without being on nature day event? And in the event that I can’t and have to tt back to April and then forward to the current date do I have anything to worry about? I might try it tomorrow. I used to tt back in ac:nl but I haven’t looked into tt here in new horizons yet.

uh, I have Marshal moving in tomorrow idk if it’ll affect anything but yea putting it out there in case.

Same issue here. Leif only visited once and there was no recipe.
If you come across it somehow please let me know? I'll do the same if I find it somewhere.

edit: also, the hedge diy comes from tom nook after you complete one of the daily earth day nook mile quests, not from leif.

You'll be able to get it from Leif, just buy from him every time he visits (I honestly don't know how many to buy to trigger this tho) and the next time he visits he'll give you the diy saying "since you're one of my best customers blah blah...", that's how I got my hedge diy recipe even without TT'ing back to nature day... If he doesn't give you the hedge recipe the next visit then just continue to buy from him until he does, he'll give it to you eventually

I got the hedge diy can confirm from leif after the event had passed since I got my switch later.

Yep! I was worried I'd have trade for tons of them lol
