Stitches was the last of my perma-villagers that I needed to get moved over to my town after I reset. Everyone else actually plotted in perfect alignent, with minimal effort. Except for Stitches. It wasn't like he only had one available slot to go into; he had several! He could have gone beside Hamlet, or Flurry...or even in between Cherry and Hamphrey. But no!

There is only ONE spot he will plot into that's aligned with the others, and it's in roughly the same spot where I wanted to place my caf?, once I unlock it. But I've been at this for almost two days, and I'm so done.

To those of you who plot reset for weeks, just to get a villager in that absolutely perfect spot: I salute you.

Oh my gosh bro that sounds hella nerve racking, I know the frustration though. That's a major thing I would want in the next game or to be changed, like wtf you're the mayor of that town, you SHOULD be able to have the authority to place villagers where you want, not them. Like "Oh look at this path aligned with flowers, don't mind putting my home on it :D". It's so frustrating to plot reset, and it's very time consuming. I hope you manage to get him in a good spot soon though, best of luck to you!

Haha, I've been working on Tex for the past few days, as well.

If you still haven't plotted him, and you haven't already done this, you can go back to the last day you played (use the system clock and start a new character to check he isn't plotting, just to be safe), then start a fence PWP where you want your caf? to be. You don't have to pay for it, but it will reserve the area, so Stitches can't plot there.

THIS.

I gave up on plot resetting him, and just left him where he was. I have other potential places to build the caf?...I just like having it by my town hall, and I could maybe still build it there, but then Stitches house would be like right behind it. And no.

Ah darn that's a shame, and yeah. Honestly there are so any pretty towns out there but if we could have control on exactly where our villagers moved, I think it would be so much easier for players and they'd be able to do more with their town I terms of decorating, etc.

I know exactly how painful plot resetting gets, especially when you're at your ninth or tenth permanent resident. I gave up after a day for Jeremiah and let him move into a spot that was workable. He absolutely refused to move into a previous resident's spot although he kept plotting one or two spaces away from it or right in the middle of my paths. @_@

Lol, I have never once done a plot reset and THAT is why my villagers are all clustered together in front of my house!
