Hazel WILL not ping me. Advice?

I've been doing the pwp trick for a bit. I've got three or four pwps so far, day two hazel recommended me the log. But the past two in game days, hazel WONT ping me. I walk past her and she doesn't but the other villagers always ping me once I get out of the water. I talked to her and she's not waiting for anything? So why won't she ping me lately. The ping / pwp trick is working on every other villager I never fail to get a ping from anyone but her

Have you gotten any other pings today? You can only get PWP pings once a day.

If she's not pinging at all (not even about greetings or catchphrases) that's really weird. Maybe you should wait a few days and see if it works then.

It's totally random unfortunately I'm waiting for the uchi PWP's too and Dierdre has only pinged once....
Yet I got all the lazy and normals in no time. If you haven't had a PWP suggested for that day, try digging holes around her so that she can't go anywhere (cruel I know but it doesn't harm anything) and keep running in front of her first every time you come out of the water.

It's random, but if you have gotten a pwp earlier today you should TT to another day ^v^

If you haven't had a PWP suggested for that day, try digging holes around her so that she can't go anywhere (cruel I know but it doesn't harm anything) and keep running in front of her first every time you come out of the water.

This would be my suggestion, make sure you're crossing her first when you leave the water so she has the best chance.

Haha guys I discovered the problem. So I actually did already have her blocked in with holes, however, she was on the edge of my town right by where I was diving (even though I did go into the corner) and when I undug her and allowed her to walk around she began pinging me again
So if anyone else has this problem simply check where your villager is dug in! Maybe it being too close to the corner of the diving area can mess things up? I dunno

Take your shovel and trap him with a bunch of wholes, then go do the diving trick! Do not run past any other villagers! You can only get one pwp request per day, and if you run past someone else it will all be for not. Just keep going until he finally pings. With each scuba set one or two villagers will be surprised to see you. The odds are kind of slim, so just keep the faith and keep going until he does ping.

Honestly, I've been trying for Deirdres PWPs for ages with the dive trick, she never once suggested one. I started digging goes around her and making sure I avoided all other villagers so she would be the only ping I got....got a scarecrow yesterday and a windmill today. Only 4 more! Keep at it!
