Having trouble making vacation home for villagers

So I got the souvenir chocolates gifted to Diana and she came to the island getaway, all she does is reminisce on how she wants a vacay home and doesn't go any further. Do I simply need to keep chatting or am I missing something? : (

Blanche turned up, who I let go of back in August. She didn't mention it one way or the other. But bear in mind she was gone before the update, so it might be different for villagers that leave now.

They still stay on your island : ) it's just a way to get them a nice vacation spot.

Thats strange I didn't get the Souvenir Cookies when I was working and I still have no clue how to design villager homes on my island.

Souvenir Chocolates are purchased with Poki after doing starter designs and after you buy Chocolates you can offer a single one to the villager of your choice and tell them to come to the island as mentioned wear work clothes and talk to them, they will ask for a vacay home.

Edit- The Souvenir Chocolates are in Lottie's building to the left in a pile you can also bulk buy for 2k Poki o/

Haven't gotten that far yet, assuming the direct was hinting I'd say do enough of your villagers archipelago spots and they'll eventually ask : )

I mean so far I've been seeing people already posting their designs of their changed villager homes. This is really bothering me. I guess I will have to do more work.
