I've also ditched Bam, Lopez, Mitzi, Marina and a LOT more that I like...

I like Skye and passed on her because even though I like her I really didn't want any wolves or dogs on my island. I don't regret passing on her though! I also passed on Fauna once. Those were the two most notable ones I think.

I have passed up a lot of villagers because you can only invite one in a day.

Kyle, Lopez, Fang, Antonio, Skye, Tybalt, Dom, Octavian, Buzz, Genji, Eugene, Octavian just to name a few.

I passed up Flurry and it was one of the saddest moments of my life. But I can't bring another from my NL town into my NH town

When I first started I invited three people and the fourth was a cute penguin but it was too late!

Yes. While looking for a jock, I had to pass up a number of cuties I'd like to have some day such as Nan and Midge.

Yes but not many, as I have had exceedingly bad luck finding anybody I like on the islands. Notably though I passed on:

-Chester (because I have him in NL)
-Peewee (my bff but I also have him in NL)
-Ike (because I was looking for Grizzly, huge mistake, thankfully amiibos exist )
-Rocco (one of my top favs in City Folk)
-Skye (she’s so cute but I just don’t like the wolves)
-Jambette (queen)

I've only ever went island hopping once, and of the trips I had taken, none of the villagers I saw were my ideal types. So, fortunately(?) no, I guess.

Letting Marina go hurt. I wanted poor Zucker to have an octopus friend, but alas...the Japanese aesthetic of my town is uncompromising, and 10 slots is a brutal limit for a cast of 391.

Not yet but i am going through a dilemma right now that is kinda related. I am starting a new island and will have to pick starters with generic houses, but i cant decide if i should invite my dreamies and keep them despite the plain furniture or skip over them if i find them, and just take someone else and wait for them for weeks to move out.

Cheri's house is lovely which is making this harder for me.

I had to pass up on Zucker, Marina, Octavian, Stitches, Bianca, Poppy, Eugene.

And then I finally ran into Diana and asked her to move in. ❤

It hurt really bad. =(

I have passed up Octavian twice. He is a Dreamie, but I already have one of my Cranky Dreamies, so I can't afford to get a second...

I passed up on Octavian (twice), Kyle, Bella, Zucker, Gayle, & Eugene... I really like them all but they're not part of my dreamie lineup in AC:NH so that's kinda painful but it is what it is lol

I've done quite a bit over 1000 tickets searching for villagers, and passed on quite a few that I really like (Nintendo please give us 15 villager slots). Most of them were during my Lucky hunt, who I finally found recently. Here are some that I passed who I really like:

Poppy (Passed her 3 times, but now I have her)
Fang
Chief
Goldie
Lolly and Punchy
Biskit

I'll probably end up getting these villagers at some point as I'm cycling villagers after I get their framed photos.
