Have you ever visited the wrong town?

I'm curious how often this happens to other people, I've done it once or twice. Every time I've had a brief laugh with the person there and just left.

Today alone I've been visited twice by people with the wrong town, one of them seemed particularly flustered about it. I felt kinda bad for them, but they left by the time I was typing out a message saying it was totally fine. I guess I should be cleaning out my friends list more often so I don't pop up in people's lists and confuse them when they're trading with someone else.

I worry about this a lot lol. I have yet to actually do it, but I'm sure it will happen one of these days. Often times if I'm doing trade I may forget to ask the town name and more than one person will be online playing with their gates open. It becomes a guessing game then. XD Nah, I'd just ask for the town name, but I do worry that I might accidentally go to the wrong town and mess something up or get a wifi error for someone on accident. I know a simple sorry would suffice but I'd be so embarrassed afterwards haha. TwT

I probably should clean my FC list but part of me doesn't want to in case I delete a friend or someone I recently added, but that doesn't really help the problem either, gah. One of these days I will lol.

I have, I was doing a few trades and didn't have time to delete FCs in between and two towns had their gates open. I forgot which was which and ended up going to the same town I had just done a trade in, but we both laughed it off. Usually I make a point of deleting FCs after trades but I just didn't have time so I messed up haha.

I haven't gone to the wrong town yet, but I thought I was at the wrong town once but it was the correct one lol.
A few people have gone to my town instead of wherever they're supposed to go though.
I clean out my FC list once in awhile, but I probably should do it more lol

Yes, when New Leaf had just come out and there were lots of gates open to visitors! Usually had a laugh with the people because they were already friends! I also had people visit by mistake although one young man always visited intentionally without invitation whenever I was open. I did not mind him because he was never out to destroy my town. I quite got used to him visiting.

I tend to clear out my friendlist relatively quickly after doing trades, so it hasn't happened to me yet. Having said that, I wouldn't mind if someone accidentally came to my town, and I hope the other person wouldn't be frustrated if I'd happen to come to theirs by mistake. Hopefully we could just laugh about it and say our goodbyes again; no harm done!

Yeaa. just a few times tho, when I had multiple trades to do.. =P oh one time I was in the middle of doing a trade with someone and my friend just popped in. I said Hi and he was like 'oops lol' and I was like 'wrong town? lol'.. and 'yeah..' we all laughed & he left. haha
