Have you ever seen a villager sit anywhere?

And by that I mean, not see them already sitting down, but actually jumping up on whatever to sit down. Tree stump, bench, in their house...

I've NEVER seen it. I'm wondering if it's possible to see them actually go from standing to sitting or not, hahaha!

I've never seen it. I think you're not meant to see it, as it always happens off-screen. So I think it's an animation missing, or just the devs being lazy.

It's the same as when you go into somebody's house and they're sitting down. It's a random occurrence.

Never. I think they are just generated to be sitting when you enter outside (or when you are not near the area of someone on map) or in there houses. I don't think there is any animation of them standing up/sitting down.

I don't think there is an animation for that, but it would be cute to see someone like Hamlet try to get on a bench or even get a cup of coffee lol

I also wish that like if u had a low friendship with them theyd sit in the middle of the bench so you couldnt sit there, and that they could sit on your house furniture

I've seen them on stumps and on benches. Anchovy was the worst for that. He had a stump two paces from his front door and be sitting on it saying that it was good that someone made the stump for him because he was too tired from walking from his home.... one word. LAZY! Boone was often sitting on the bench outside his house, I've even found 2 villagers sitting side-by side on the bench Skye and Yuka. Yuka must have been a boring companion though because Skye was asleep. LOL

I'd love to see them in the act of sitting, that would be soooo cute.

I have three benches in my town, but I see them sitting on them very rarely!! I have seen Fauna and Marcel sitting on the long bench and they looked really adorable~

You must be at least 30% cool.

It's a random occurrence, I haven't seen it happen that much myself. Just keep walking around in your town and eventually you'll see it.
