Ugh, I can't tell how many times I reset my town for the silliest reasons. Either I didn't
liked the town map anymore (as I thought I would maybe could get a much better one),
I started to dislike the name of my mayor or the town name or I wanted to have a boy
as mayor, then again a girl... It's like whenever I played for while and thought I finally
set everything, I find something that bothers me so much that I want to reset. And
then it takes like forever till I find a map I like again. Not sure why and how I ended
up in that how I call it "resetting madness", as none of my recent towns lasts for at
least half a year.
Right now, I make a break from New Leaf and I swore to myself that I will try to hold
the next town longer then just a week, as I also start to get bored with the whole
resetting. I also make right now some plans for my new town and hope that I can
break out of this resetting madness finally.
so many times. my towns never really last for more than a week, then i get bored and can't stop myself resetting. this time i absolutely refuse to reset
Nope. I'm still playing my first town. It's gone through several designs, in terms of landscaping and moving a few villagers in and out, but I'm finally at a place where I love the layout, villagers, and my house. I'm almost finished with landscaping (just shopping for pink-azalea starts), although hybrids will continue.
I've invested too much time and effort to want to scrap it.
I reset my first town when I first got the game so the town was probably a day or so old. I had named it Azalea, then found out that that was the name of a bush start in the game, and I wanted to have a unique town name. So I reset that town and made Serenade which I have had ever since. Scrolwrk came along a couple months later, which has never been reset.
I'm surprised I've kept my towns for as long as I have. I used to reset like daily in WW as I wanted to change my town name and theme. So I wouldn't reset my NL towns but I am so tempted to buy another copy. If only my brother gave me his copy instead of selling it
I reset my first game because the cartridge was damaged and I was worried one day it may stop working. I moved everything I wanted from it to my new game, then reset and started playing on it just for fun. I made the town Ut-oh and I don't worry about paths, hybrids, dreamies or anything.
Once, back in August. I was a newer player when I bought the game (April of 2017) and didn't really know about good town maps or landscaping, so I reset to make my town look better.
That failed, though, lmao. I kinda just kept telling myself, "I'll start landscaping when all of my dreamies moved in," which proved to be a much harder task than I anticipated. And I've already kind of messed up on some non-destroyable PWPs so the town isn't the way I'd like it to be.
I bought a second copy of the game on ebay and I'm going to make that one a themed town. My main one will just be a cycling town, but I don't plan on resetting it.
Yeah I've reset my town a couple of times because I never ended up happy with them and wanted to restart. I wanted a new town recently and I couldn't reset because I love my town too much now so I bought a new cartridge hahahah.
I have 6 games. The only one I reset was my last one. It was a 50's town, then a flower themed town, then a 4th of July town, now it's Anne of Green Gables themed town. I'm pretty happy with it now, so no more resetting.
A: Yes. I have resetted my town countless times. Whenever I got the perfect town status in my town I usually reset my town and start over a new leaf. I'm currently trying to get my town tree to be a level three, so I can sell my town and start a new town. Don't like the current town that I have at the moment. Decorating doesn't help either, so I am hoping that I will start a new town soon. My town tree level is at level two.
