Have You Ever Regretted Resetting?

Goodness, I had no idea Sanrio cards had gotten so expensive. Guess that UK pack I bought for $40 a while back was a good buy.

Welcome Amiibo items cost 5 Meow coupons from Harvey, or 3 if you get it from the RVs.

You can also get WA items from balloons--I vendor any balloon items usually and just keep popping balloons hoping for more WA items.

my second town has been a lot of resets after resets. i reset my first town once but i cannot remember it very much because i like my current town tuesday so much

but glory has been many things and it's okay. it's tough right now even when i got two villagers in a row not planned and stuff, but it's okay :)

I never really regretted it when I resetted my town. After all, whenever I decided to reset
it then because I had a reason for it, like I lost interest in it or when there is something that
bother me too much.

I'm dealing with some feelings of regretting the map I chose for my new town. I really should have been more patient and reset more because it is pretty bad. The river is too bendy so there's not really any super good, convenient places to put any bridges. The rock placement is horrible, though I can work around that. The most annoying thing is the town hall being right in front of my campsite...

I should've reset until I got a map with Re-Tail and Town Hall at the top of the map close to the train station because I like things being convenient. But since I have amiibos I'm almost definitely going to sell this town to Nook and reset as soon as my town tree hits level 4.

But I do not regret resetting itself. My original map was almost perfect but the town name was AWFUL and I was so embarrassed every time I had to share it on here.

Could you TT until the tree hits level 4? If you really aren't feeling your town I think this could help. It took me forever to settle down with a town I liked; I used my sister's 3DS and game to hold the things I got from one town and reset that town then held more things, etc. until I finally found a map I don't think I'll ever reset. And I can relate to the town name embarrassment because I almost never know what to name my town until I've already made it and visited the map lol.

I reset my launch town after about two years and really missed it. I had two towns after it that I could never really get into, but I started another town in June this year and have played in it more than I did the other two.

I still miss my original town, and it feels weird to be doing things over again, but it's still pretty fun. I think the thing that sucks about restarting a town in ACNL is that there's so much you have to do over again, and it can be pretty off-putting. I've decided to just take this town at my own pace; I think I kept comparing the other two to my original town and how quickly I was unlocking things in it, but I just don't have the free time that I used to have.

Yeah, I just reset my town that I had for almost 2 years (The longest I've kept a town) and I do honestly regret it

i time travel a lot and managed to get it to lvl 3 in like 12 days, but it still requires 50 real-time hours of playing. i'm estimating it'll take up to two more weeks probably to get there :/ still, i'm glad someone relates to my problem lol. my old town was named after a ship i wasn't even super into, but i chose it because i thought it would be "funny". it was only funny for a week. lmao

I have multiple towns, but I only ever reset two of them--both cycling towns. I do regret them both somewhat. I reset Ostara (which was starting to be a happy, cute, Easter-themed town) so I could lend the game to a friend long-term. He played it for a few days, maybe, and that was it. I never asked for the game back. That was at least three years ago.

I reset Lawndale, my Daria-themed cycling town, so I could make AHS. I certainly don't regret making AHS, but I'd had big plans for Lawndale, too. It was going to be a fully fixed-up town that just happened to be used for cycling. Recently, though, I found a way to bring it back through 'alternate' methods (I had an outdated backup file of it, which I'd made even though I hadn't originally planned to ever bring it back). I might work on it again one day, but right now I'm too busy!

i reset my first town after a month of playing because i wanted a different fruit (such a dumb reason but hey, #aesthetic) and i spent a lot of time playing so i thought id get my money back from tom nook and have a head start on my new town but oh well, i didnt expand enough or something so it all just disappeared. im still kinda bitter because i worked hard for that month but at the same time, it made me pay less attention to details and now i just play casually without worrying so much about layout etc!

i kind of regret it sincemy previous town was the one i played with my sister more but i guess i like the town i have now since its looked better than any other towns ive had and i guess its more organised and ive actually put effort into it. but i do miss the old days when i played with my sister in that town lol we always dont the tweeter glitch ;v;'' but im grateful i reset

Yes. I've reset all my towns since the start of the game. I wist I'd just stick with the first one and let it grow for a couple of years. I'm really going to try and keep my first town in Switch. Started over 2 days ago with New Leaf to try and play day by day on a slow pace until Switch comes out.

I don?t know how people reset so often and keep their interest and passion in the game.

This is a thing for me. I've put more than 700+ hours in New Leaf but I've never had a town with Katrina's shop or unlocked all the emotions or completed the museum, just because I kept resetting. I love the feeling of a fresh start but then I forget the start is really slow. I always went to time traveling and getting a lot of bells and hybrids from friends, what made the game faster pace but also lot less rewarding. So I would decide to reset again. It's a down going spiral and I hate it haha.
