Have you ever gotten anything rare/unorderable by shaking trees?

I got a cardboard closet by shaking trees in my first few weeks or so of playing the game. Not knowing any better, I sold it.

Has anyone else had good luck by shaking trees?

Been playing for over a year, and i did not know this could happen.Thats really cool.Sorry you sold it though.I would have done the same.My daughter sold a couple of sloppy items when she first started.She didn't know any better.

But no, I don't think I ever got anything rare. But again, I don't always bother to shake my trees. I guess I'll begin doing that more often again, now, tho.

I don't really shake my trees much any more - most are fruit trees now - but I don't think I ever really got anything that rare out of them.

but i really don't think you can get a mannequin piece from shaking a tree.

Ditto, besides encountered a Sloppy Chair from Stinky in Retail. Yes I got it hehe.

It just can not be reordered for some odd reason. It was most likely over looked as the lawnmower and sprinkler are both orderable in the Japanese version. You just got to obtain it normally like a normal item.

I think they meant the item you get from Gulliver, not the one the Able Sisters and Gracie give to you.

Wow, this is awesome, I didn't know! I sorta stopped shaking my trees because I am horrified of the bees, which is silly, but hey! Freaking bees. I've tried to master the art of catching them but I'm not quite there yet.

That said, I can't remember the last thing I got from shaking my trees, but with the knowledge, perhaps I should start up again....

I didn't know you could get rare stuff from trees :O I shake trees a lot because I might get items I need or don't have in my catalog but sadly I've never gotten anything rare yet.

I've gotten a sprinkler once! Not that that's rare. XD Ever since I got the hang of catching bees I've been shaking trees more and more.

I need to start shaking my trees more often based on the replies in this thread! Never got anything special myself, but I also rarely make the effort to look for the items in trees.
