I don't mean delete it (which I've done many, many times), I mean just going around chopping down all the trees, digging up the bushes, getting rid of flowers and paths, etc. I'm considering it since I have a big portion of my dreamies, but I'm so unhappy with my landscaping I just want to start fresh. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone's been in the same boat as me before lol
I’ve done it. Sometimes landscaping doesn’t really turn out so nice and I start chopping things off and destroying pwp.
I have a slight urge right now to cut I’ll the trees around the plaza. I feel like one of the trees is placed somewhat wrong and it’s messing up all of them. Can’t quite figure out which one it is though so maybe they’ll all go.
I did that in Callisto and it worked... for a bit... |D however the more I work with it, the less I like the actual map layout and I’m just working on getting the storage space in my second town up so I can safely reset.
... it is pretty nice and cathartic if you’ve had a bad day though!
I've thought about it, chopping all trees and removing all flowers cause 1 I wanna see how it looks and 2 seems like an intresting way to landscape, you're literally starting with a blank slate ha.
I might do this in Luminosa, I'm gonna end up chopping alot of the trees anyway.
I did it in PixelsV2 and lemme tell ya it was the most refreshing thing that I have ever done. I'm planning on doing it in Alleyway when I get enough axes and an actual planned layout.
I am doing it now in Astoria. It has been such a long process, but I'm really dedicating myself to it now. The biggest problem I've had is that my Mayor's storage is just stuffed, so I have to store loads of flowers, saplings, and bushes between two side characters. xD
I'm still plucking up flowers with Cinna, I almost have everything cleared up and then I can actually plan where the new plants will go.
Not in New Leaf fortunately. I have remade my town basically three times without starting over.
It was quite an undertaking, but I am extremely pleased with the end result.
I went through and chopped down all my trees but left the stumps until I finally went through enough axes to chop them all down, while still keeping one basket of each fruit and buying saplings from Leif everyday. Then I mapped out my town on my iPad to figure out where I wanted all my orchards and used the stumps as guides while mapping. Then finally dug up the stumps and planted my new trees. Took basically all Winter to accomplish and once I was done THEN Leif gave me the golden axe *headdesk*
Still working on theming my town. Fearful I might go through and chop everything again ):
