Have any of you played SHMUP (shoot em' up) games?

I grew up with shmups thanks to my dad, and still play them now.

I played a lot of Twinbee when I was younger, it's remained one of my favorites for a long time.

Classics like Galaga, Space Invaders, etc, will always be fun. Touhou, Len'en, etc, are great! Shikhondo: Soul Eater is a recent one that I really enjoyed.

There’s lots of options when starting with Touhou windows games nowadays. You could buy them from Steam (the later Touhou game titles, Touhou 16 to 18). Or if you’re a fan of earlier Touhou games (Touhou 6 to 10) you could download it of some websites. PC-98 Touhou games require a PC-98 emulator to run it though.
