Has your game data ever corrupted?

I have a physical copy that's never corrupted. I've even got pretty lucky since before I found out about corruption I am 100% positive I've accidentally turned off my 3ds mid-save. It's still nerve-racking sometimes though when I see how common it SEEMS to be.

I'm not entirely sure what to think of people who ask for donations after their town is "corrupted"... The fact that they're asking just makes it look suspicious, at least to me. It's one thing if people offer themselves, but when I see people asking/begging... It kind of makes me wonder, y'know?

In other news, my friend's physical game corrupted last night. v.v She wasn't too far into it though, since she just got it about a month ago, so it wasn't much to lose thankfully.

I dropped my 3DS while I was playing and the cartridge popped out. At least I wasn't saving. I had god a lot over again though. It's basically the reset for daredevils xD. I did it on accident, but it didn't corrupt.

None of this have ever happened to me, and I hope it never will O.O Just the thought of losing all my data makes me pissed.

No but I recently dropped my ds and the game told me thiers no extra data on my sd card.
I nearly started crying. It worked when I took my sd card out and put it back in again.

I have 1 digital copy (got in June), and 2 physical copies (got in August and... October?) and none of them have corrupted yet. Hopefully they never do. D: *Knocks on wood*


I've dropped my 3DS spectacularly from a distance of maybe 3.5ft in the air onto rough concrete and I think I may have also hit the power button while my town was loading once. Almost had a heart attack both times, but everything was fine when I checked.
