I can't think of specifics at the moment, but there have been many times I've been watching Jeopardy on TV, and I've known an answer specifically because of Animal Crossing. Sometimes it was a type of bug, a fish, or even a flower I wouldn't have otherwise known the name of. I've actually learned a lot from video games, and Animal Crossing in particular.

I've actually leanrt about heaps of bug and fish species! Now sometimes when I'm watching documentaries about animals I will recognise certain species from animal crossing ahahah, it's actually awesome. Same goes with all the artwork and the fossils, I now know what they are. I love reading all the descriptions for the bugs, fish and fossils in the museum to kill some time and learn something new.
It's one of my favorite games of all time and it's a great stress reliever.
I have learned that no matter how much you love something, you have to set it free... LOL, just kidding! I never let them move out even if they want to be free! In all seriousness, I have learned more about fish, bugs and sea life then I ever wanted or needed to. But when I see an arapaima or horned elephant, I immediately know everything about them, which often astounds people.

Pay attention to what your villagers are doing while you're playing or they all might wind up dressed like Freddy Krueger.......
Cats and dogs can live in peace and harmony........
On a more serious note,Animal Crossing has taught me to relax,have fun and not take things too seriously in life...or in video games.

Animal Crossing definitely taught me a lot about bugs and fish. I loved reading the descriptions of them in ACWW, and it is still fun to do in ACNL.
Plus, whenever the topic of the biggest flower came up, I knew about that red flower with flies forever circling it.

It taught me so many species of bugs and fish, it?s also surprised my parents when I see a bug or fish on TV or in real life and to know what it is:?) it?s also taught me to be patient, like waiting for villagers to move in, a shop to be built, etc. And also to appreciate flowers and nature a lot more c:
