When I had my first town on Acnl, I'd been going back and forth from Club Tortimer alot, causing many saves in a row. I've heard that can bug out the game, and that's what happened to me. When it tried to save on one of the ways back, it showed the red dialogue box and stated "The save game could not be read. Returning to the title screen." After this, in a panic, I tried to enter my town, and was met with "Your save data is corrupted." Soon after a complete fit, I tried what I call "Daddy Pig's advice" and turned it off and turned it back on again. My town was there . Functioning completely. After that scare, I didn't touch the game for months. Has anything like this happened to you?

No, but I used to be a save freak (on other games) and it's okay.

Just try to save only once you finish or when you get/do something important.

hmm, never heard of anything like that happening. i probably would've freaked out too!

Oh, no I never heard this! I've been saving and continuing a lot to try to get a tarantula to spawn. Maybe I shouldn't do that. :(

I can't say this ever happened to me when I went to Club Tortimer. I did a lot of island hopping too and saving and continuing when I was bug catching and it never did anything. So sorry this happened to you. :(

Out of all the times I had a chance to have my save corrupted, it luckily never did. It’s like my game is immune to corruptions, and that’s a good thing.

But about two times, I somehow entered in a code by pressing certain buttons that leads to you deleting the whole data on that cartridge. I have no idea how I got there, but since it happened two times I was so scared I went out of the screen safely.
Again, I don’t know what buttons to press to trigger that, and I don’t want to try it out, or go in there accidentally again.

Whoa... no thank goodness. I did have a villagers moving in and out glitch way back though.

Never heard that this could happen, at least you had lots of luck that your town was still there.

The only thing that once scared me was that my game freezed for a second and I was confused
how that happened.
