So, I have just started a new town. I was talking to Scoot, and he asked me to give him my opinion about the shirt he was about to put on. But then, he did the "spin-around" thing and put on the exact same shirt he had been wearing before, the one with the little frog! Has this ever happened to anyone before? I'm curious, because I think it's been a huge coincidence xD

I didn't actually mean to say that he spun around, I just didn't know the exact word to say that. But he did change clothes indeed, since it was the very beginning of the game, and he said something along the lines of "Hey, let me try something new on and tell me what do you think about it!".

That hasn't happened, but something else weird has happened several times: They'll tell me they're giving me the shirt they were wearing...but it's a different shirt.

On my first day a villager changed clothes and asked me what I though, I said the new outfit looked better so ofc I though he would give me the one he just changed from... He didn't. He just gave me a random shirt.

That exact thing hasn't happened to me, but I've had villagers suggest a "new" nickname for me that was exactly the same one they'd been calling me

Whenever I start a new town, one villager would change their clothes as some sort of a tutorial. But I think that only happens on your first day? I didn't experienced a villager changing into the same kind of clothing though.
