So I had this surreal experience yesterday. I often host open town and I am away from switch. Before closing a session, I go to - button and check to see if I have the option of seeing passports of visiting players. If not, it means there are no more players present!
So yesterday I checked with - button and it didn't gave me passport option, only "ready to wrap up?" which is save and close. So I ran to airport and closed the gate. I have no idea what the dodo said since I smashed A. after I closed the gate, I went to snap some pics in my town and pressed HOME button in order to post from switch gallery the pics.
Everything goes smooth, I am on merry way, I start playing again, suddenly some random dialogue pops up of some player thanking me and leaving. This happens after I reentered the game from switch gallery mode. There should have been no player left on the island a long time ago? Not only that from what I know, if I exit the game thru home button, it automatically ends the session.
