Has anyone misspelled your name before?

yup. my birth name more than my current name tho, my birth name contains a gn and people would always write ng instead or even worse ngn ....,. why ...,..

OH MY GAWD dont even get me started my name is misspelled all the time
My teacher wrote me a letter of recommendation for me once and she misspelled my name 4 different times!! T-T

even people i've known for a year spell my name "sofia" when they first attempt it, so i decided to use "pia" as a nickname. but, to be honest, i do hang with a bunch of friends with names that almost always gets messed up, but pronounication is fine for me.

Always..My name is Raphaela. I saw quite a lot of false and ridiculous variations: Rafaela,Raffaela,Rapfaela,Rafhaela. Everytime I must say with ph please. When I was younger I didn't like my name.

all the damn time. I get "julian" or "julianne" a lot (it's julienne). sometimes people will flat out decide to abbreviate it to "julie" which infuriates me because I hate that name.

My real name is either misspelled or mispronounce alot. Someone been calling me Kendra for years, even though I told them that's not my name.

99% of people spell my name wrong, and my name is Nicole, too actually. But I'm not referring to "Nicole", but "Nicky". Everyone spells it "Nikki" or something similar. I think only 3 or 4 people in my entire life have spelled it correctly, obviously not including my immediate family who made my name like that. I've also gotten Nichole a lot, too. I hate both of these incorrect spellings lol. I like "Nicky" because it's more masculine.

That's something we both have in common! ;)

I absolutely had to click this thread when I saw the title I could relate heavily to, and the fact we had the same name xD
People also mispronounce my last name all the time, too, putting the stressed syllable in the wrong part.

Oh god yes

"Alli" "Alley" "Alie" "Ally" "Aly"
I've had it all

ITS ALI PEOPLE
THREE LETTERS
NOT THAT HARD

oh and don't get me started on my last name.

Someone once asked me how it's spelled. Took me a second to understand what they were asking.

it's hard to get my name wrong but sometimes kids put an 'e' on at the end lmao

For some reason even when people have my name they choose to spell it "Serena" instead of "Sarena". It's like they're telling me I'm spelling my own name wrong :( I usually just go by Rena now, but instead of misspelling it, it gets mispronounced as "RAIN-na" or "Ren-ae". Can't win either way!

I had a friend named Ali, so I would be one of the people who'd spell your names right c:
One of my friends, Abbey, would have her name spelled "Abby".

Wow you have a beautiful name! :o I didn't realise there was a feminine version of Raphael.
