Has anyone ever failed Labelle’s fashion challenge? If so, how?

I personally haven’t failed one yet, but I’m insterested in hearing if anyone has, and with what kind of outfit for which theme.

Also here’s another question for you, what’s the most absurd outfit Labelle has accepted for any sort of theme?

For some reason, Labelle gave me a Morning coat for a “party” theme, so I went with it and dressed in dapper men’s clothes that would work for a very formal event. Perhaps she was thinking of a formal party, but personally when I hear the word “party,” I think of something more laid-back, or maybe loud and expressive. Not so much something excessively formal.

Does not completing the challenge count as a fail?

I have failed before but she let me try again! I wanted to see what would happen and she just told me to come back with something else

Havent failed before, they've been pretty easy and I've stopped doing them now, since I got all her clothing, it's a bit boring. I feel bad cause I love her as a character, but ehhh.... she should just move in with her sisters now.

I havent, but it is not like she visited a lot. Gracie was brutal! I needed guides and weeks of looking for many kinds of clothes in preperation for her. You dont need anything like that with Labelle. She is too nice to give you a hard time which makes this kinda easy.

What did you enjoy more? Gracie fashion checks or Labelle's fashion challenge? I think i like this more but only because l like Labelle, and the easier nature of these challenges does fit her.

I haven't failed Labelle's challenge, but I've seen my sister try to attempt it once and failed I think. She was seeking a gothic style and my sister tried to dress up as all black. And would you not believe it, she failed, despite wearing black clothing all over after initially being given a black shirt. The details are a little cloudy but when she tried talking to Labelle again, there weren't any more chances given. I could be wrong though because I feel like you could get another shot if you changed your clothing and spoke to Labelle again.

The closest I got to failing was putting on a wand outfit, and she told me to change into a real one.

I didn't fail per se, but I didn't impress Label. I think it was the goth theme but I was feeling lazy so I only wore the shirt and then a bunch of black clothes to match it. And I only got one tailor ticket instead of two lol.

In the official companion guide, it says that you can fail the test if you don't wear a single item of clothing from the theme. There are different levels of passing the test depending on how many items on theme you're wearing, but Because she already gives you one item on theme, the only way to outright fail it is if you don't even wear that item. The tests are also a bit easier than in NL because most clothing items have multiple themes. I'm pretty sure in NL, each item has only one theme.
