Has anyone else discovered item recolors?

I was just in the able sisters, getting ready to design something, and right in front of me is a blue ballet dress!

This wasn't a thing before, was it? I hope this means there's matching shoes for it! It's exactly like the pink one, but it's blue. I can't post a pic right now.

I also noticed some furniture recolors, but I assumed it was something you could take to retail. For example, the cabana items with rainbow like patterns on them. I forget which RV it was.

I don't use Cabana or Ranch, so I didn't know, but I was hoping for more exclusive kind of recolors. It'd be super hard to copy a clothing design and totally recolor it yourself. Well, not all of them, but some.

if we're talking furniture recolors i know that theres a purple morning glory option in HHD that wasnt in acnl originally, maybe you can have it customized to purple now?
