Has anybody ever actually gotten Snow Tyke gifts?

Sometimes your pathways make the snowballs bigger. Think it's when it starts snowing more.
Finding a dirt spot or using the train or event plaza is helpful. Also having room to see.

Sometime it's best just to let the snowball fall off the cliff or hit a tree.
They can be far apart and too much of a pain. Just go into the train station or a building after. Sometime they are close to the 1st snowball.

You're right; if you screw up it is better to let the snowball break or fall rather than waste a day you really can't afford to waste. I always try to build my Snowpeople near my Station so I don't lose them or forget about them so using the Station to shrink them is a great idea. Thank you! I'm guessing that even if my Station is full of my c*ap laying around that they'll still shrink... I'm pretty sure I made large snowballs rolling them over my stuff and the snowball didn't seem to know there was anything under them as I rolled them. I'm pretty sure I'll be cutting down a lot of trees. I'm working on re-landscaping anyway, so that's no big deal. My town is a real eyesore and I need to improve it.

So, tiles can both shrink or grow a snowball on tiles, depending on the snow. Good tip!

I got the snow bunny and pretty much gave up after that with him. Completely uninterested in collecting the Winter themed sets though I really need them for catalog purposes.

It was difficult for me at first, but after some practice with the rolling I became well-acquainted with the proportions I needed to build which snow-family member. I've gotten all the prizes and during winter I always make sure the whole family is there because I feel so bad when one is missing, haha. It's sooo frustrating when you end up just being slightly off, though.

Yes you can run over items on the ground. I have perfect fruit at the plaza for my guest to take.
I ran over them and had no problems. It's trees,houses,villagers and PWP that cause the problem.

Once I lost a snowball when I rolled it over a bridge. The villager crossed and was out of the way. Started rolling it and the villager turned around and walked on the bridge. It was a big snowball and they broke it.

The other night a villager moved the snowball a little and it helped. I put the head on top and it was a perfect snow boy.

Last night I made a snowmama wrong and she was very mad. First I got her bottom and top perfect. Than put the bottom on top of her head. Sometimes getting them wrong is hard. The other night my snowmama turned out to be a bad snow tyke.

OMG...you guys and gals are all wonderful and funny! I'm so glad that lots of you got this down to a science and also glad that some of you don't and feel free to share the frustration.

I'd feel bad if I couldn't make the entire family and have them close together. Do they even know the others are there and talk to them, I wonder?

And I couldn't help but laugh at the thought of SnowMama being mad. Lol! I can almost picture her now with that snow-bun hair and a rolling pin she'd love to bop me with if I mess her up!

Thank you, all of you, for your support and your sharing. I will absolutely make sure I tell everyone the first time I make a perfect Snowperson other than the SnowMan, who is easy. That will be my first true winter victory! If I get everything, Tom, I'll let you catalog them all! :)

I either make an imperfect Snowman, Snowboy, Snowmam and Snowtyke, or I make the wrong snow person ;-;
