For example, have you just...STOPPED playing other games or do you still play them?

Ever since I got AC I barely touch any other games and it's almost all I ever play. When Pokemon ORAS came out, I beat it at light speed just so I could go back to full time AC playing. I have a stack of games to play that I still haven't because I can't tear myself away from AC long enough to play them. I even bought a new game two weeks ago and haven't played it once. I'm starting to think I'm overly addicted to AC, but I just don't want my villagers to move out :(

I am a total die hard fan of this game. Yes I played Alpha Sapphire, just to complete story mode and delta episode. But after building my competitive team and don't have a destiny knot yet, I just took a break from it for awhile.

I too play Mario Kart 8, but AC does not affect this, well kinda if you count the dlc coming in 2 months. Every time I see the character roster and stare at the villager, I get sad that I have to wait that long for him to come out. So i'm not playing it until then, I might still play as Toadette but I might ditch her for the villager.

I haven't even finished my ORAS yet, I barely even started it, except soft resetting for shiny Trochic. I finally got it after like 30 minutes? Basically haven't played since then. I would love to go back to it and several games that I abandoned like Fantasy Life, Harvest Moon, Lunar: Dragon Song and many others. I wouldn't say it ruined other games for me, AC is just way too addicting. XD

It was the only game I was playing for a while, but I wasn't really interested in any other games at the time anyways. I've gotten into Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate now, so I've been spending less time on ACNL recently. I still do my daily tasks, but I haven't been spending a lot of time on other things like working on badges.

Before I started playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf, I had been playing Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns for about 6 months. Though I don't know if it's ruined that game for me, I haven't played it much since December 31st, when I started playing New Leaf. And before Tale of Two Towns, I had been playing Super Mario 64 DS from Christmas 2013 to June of last year. I haven't played that game much anymore either, although I still enjoy it.

I play basically 3 games: Pokemon, Animal Crossing, or Monster Hunter. All other games I try to play I end up giving up on to get back to those 3!

I have periods where I play animal crossing non stop but I usually burn out and then put it down for a couple of weeks. I don't know though, I am playing it nonstop right now and I have like 6 games I've purchased and haven't started.

At first I was able to play it and other games fine and it was fun. But after I joined tbt It just became even more addicting with people to trade with, villagers to look out for and all. I really wish I could get back into competitive pokemon. I used to build teams and ladder everyday on showdown and I even made it to the top 50 on the underused ladder. I hope in a month or so I start playing it less and start getting into other games I used to play.

I got ACNL when I went to preorder Pokemon Y. I beat that in under and month and came straight back to AC. I don't have a lot of 3DS games (every other one I either beat already or not something I can/want to play as much). The rest of my games are all on console which I can, and have played at the same time along with NL.

It kinda made me more patient for my other millions of games I have. Like I would have literally quit Mega Man for life because of how impatient I am.

Animal Crossing is really an addicting game and I have spend so much time playing it in the first year. I haven`t played much other games during that time and I neglected my Pokemon X. Nowadays I play it for an hour or more and do my daily tasks, and I haven`t lost a villager yet. New Leaf is my favourite game, and at the moment I play Pokemon Omega Ruby and occasionally Yoshi?s New Island. Sometimes I take short breaks and don`t play anything at all though, because life isn`t all about playing games c:

I got AC for Christmas along with Pokemon X, Alpha Sapphire, and Scribblenauts, and I'm going to buy Mario Kart 7 or 8 at some point. But I'll probably only ever play ACNL. <3

Animal Crossing hasn't ruined other games for me but it has helped deliver my gaming fix when I need it. Instead of playing for hours on end, I can pop in ACNL for 30 minutes and feel satisfied. I REALLY shouldn't be playing ACNL as much as I do but at least it keeps me from constantly sitting in front of a screen and playing for hours on end.

Nahh, i switch from game to game, i am active in Animal Crossing right now but if you speak me again i will be playing another game. A few months back i played Smash Bros. a lot, before that Xenoblade, before Xenoblade i was totally addicted to Mario Kart 8 and so on. It just changes which game i play. I will always come back to older games later. I think i feel like playing through Super Mario Sunshine again sometime soon! I actually never finish it with 120 shines. I just beat the final boss and quit playing after!

Omg speaking of the GameCube, i played through Luigi's Mansion not too long ago and i finished it with A rank! But it is really hard to get it where i live because i have the PAL version, you need some additional millions of G to get the A rank, like a lot! It has to be nearly the perfect score for the NA version. So when i saved and stuff my friend came over and wanted to play Luigi's Mansion. Pure fun right? NO! HE DELETED MY A RANK SAVE FILE! I LITTERALLY SCREAMED! :(

I switch between Alpha Sapphire and New Leaf. I have periods where I'm obsessed with just the one, and then I have others where I can't put down the other. I feel bad about the fact that I've completely neglected Pokemon X, though. The fact that I beat the game shouldn't mean that I can't play it anymore. I guess I could get back to shiny hunting or working on my competitive team...

I play ACNL more regularly than other games because, well, with most games you just beat them and that's it and ACNL is an ongoing thing. I still play other games and take breaks from ACNL sometimes.

yes, I currently have 20 3DS games and I'm not playing most of them because of ACNL XD
