I know who that is since my one online friend was a huge Harry Potter fan, but I had to look them up. It was Cedric. I could be remembering wrong, but it felt like they were only in the one movie where they died during the competition. Harry was so upset over it because they were really good friends, but that's only made evidently clear in the books from what I gathered. They didn't really get as much screentime as they should've if that makes sense?

Cedric had a small appearance in Prisoner of Azkaban novel. Harry was in the middle of a Qudditch match when I believe Dementors swarmed the field and caused Harry to black out. The Hufflepuff team had just won the match when Cedric noticed that something had happened to Harry and tried to get the win nulled as Cedric thought that it was an unfair advantage.
