Uh, I don't really play too many difficult games but I'd say Super Mario 3D World if beating Champion's Road with all characters counts

A game that was really hard to beat was Super Mario 64 DS. It's really not too hard of a game, but finding all of the stars is such a hard task. Especially when you don't know what secret stars you already have. lol

Super Mario 3D Land was hard for me. I didn't beat it 100% though.

The classic spyro series were hard for me to 100%, but I nailed it.

Oh yeah, I can't even beat Super Mario Galaxy. Every time I try to go to Bowser's Galaxy the game crashes.

I guess it depends on what your opinion of a "hard game." Either way I can't think of one that I've beaten that would be considered very hard.

but even then I'd say more medium-hard than hard-hard (easy-hard with Luigi)

nope (I actually did this in like 2-3 tries iirc, and even the failure tries got decently far)

and beating Hell won't be either

once you beat Hell you must prove your worth as a true master spelunker with a solo eggplant run

neither portal or portal 2 are that difficult but I have beaten both. I also have all the achievements for portal 2 so I think there is something to be said about that?

portal 1 achievements can be pretty frustratingly hard to complete if you wanted a challenge

you basically need to learn and master all the physics tricks and whatnot
