Hardest badge to obtain?

Wow, 30 dream towns every day! I admit I'm still on the bronze dream badge because I rarely visit dream towns now and whenever I do, I always explore the town fully and talk to all of the villagers in the dream town. It takes so much time, but I don't feel right if just leave without seeing everything. So, yeah, I guess the dream badge is probably the second hardest for me after Streetpass.

I used to like seeing how other folks used their PWP's, and when I wanted to see what a particular villager was like, or their exterior and interior, before I'd move them in. :)

Are there any requirements on how long you visit? I feel like I have visited so many but I dont even have the Bronze Badge

Nope!

Some places I'd just get off the bed, and get back on and go back home. ^_^

The beauty of this, is if you update your dream town, you get $5000.

That pays for ten trips!

Honestly the reason why I never went to begin with was because of the cost. But now that Im crazy rich in the game its more about having the time

THE STREETPASS GOLD! This relies on other people having the game. Whereas the Medal badge is doable because you can technically do that by yourself, if need be.

The turnip badge, man. I'm at silver now but its so hard to get the gold because I simply don't have the time to even buy turnips or look at the stalk market twice everyday. Those streetpass badges have been golded thanks to me bringing my 3ds with me way back a few years ago.

I actually have a couple of questions on this topic, for those that have a bit more experience here:

1) Did the bell saver badge change? I took a 5 year hiatus from this game and only came back to it last summer, aka after the big update. I could SWEAR the bell saver badge used to be 100,000,000 bells, but now it's a billion? Can anyone confirm or debunk this? (And if it really was changed, man that's a SUPER crappy thing to do, Nintendo.)

2) For the Streetpass badge, are you able to Streetpass the same person repeatedly, or do they all have to be unique? I know this requires the DSes talking to each other. Does this require that they're only in standby mode, or will they do it while you're in-game, too?

3) I'm nowhere with my turnip trading badge because I've just generally never bothered with turnips, but I had recently thought I should start working on that and hopefully get the badges. I bought turnips and intended to sell them later, and because my life doesn't allow me to play completely regularly I made sure I kept track of the last times I played because I have to TT a lot and I didn't want to accidentally go backwards. Despite this, my turnips still spoiled, and I was really confused. I change the clock on my DS itself rather than the in-game one, so I don't know how the game knew I'd gone forward in real life and artificially moved it back. I do regularly go to Club Tortimer though because I'm still missing 3 items, so I was wondering if that might've spoiled my turnips? Does the game check your date/time against the world clock when you go online?

Sorry this ended up being so long! These have just been on my mind for a while because these badges are giving me so much trouble!

1) It is still 100,000,000 bells. It's called the bellionaire badge or something like that, but you only need 100 million to obtain it. I haven't gotten it yet, but my husband got it this year, so I'm positive.

2) For the Streetpass badge, you can Streetpass the same person repeatedly. I've gotten the bronze and silver Streetpass badges that way. The only people I've ever Streetpassed are my husband and my second 3DS.

3) Sorry, I don't time travel, so I don't know the answer to this one.

3ds system clock and in-game clock are tied to the game in practically the same manner

and a "world clock" wouldn't make any sense, what with time zones and all

at least out of what little I can make out of that question

What I meant by "world clock" is the fact that the date would sometimes be different. For example, if I'm too tired after work to play the game one night, then when I play the next night I set the date and time backwards to the day I missed, play that day, and then catch up afterward. I made sure that the times I played my game that the date and time never went backward in-game, but at some point my turnips still spoiled, and I wondered if it's because when I went online the DS noticed that I was playing on one date but 'the world' (maybe the server?) was playing on another.

I was lucky with the turnip badge.

I bought (lost count) so many that they filled all the storage, including the museum storage, in all four players houses in my old town.

I sold them during a large spike and made over ten million. ^_^

I’ve never got a lot of streetpasses, I only ever get them from my brother who never even played Animal Crossing, and doesn’t use his ds anymore. I streetpassed someone on Animal Crossing once while traveling.

Haha, I just weeded about 2,000-3,000 weeds! What a pain!

Oh, weed badges!

I never got ANY!

I had the Beautiful Town Ordinance enacted so I rarely got any weeds when I had my town.

It would literally have taken decades to get it, as I didn't visit any towns with weeds.

I remember offering to weed peoples towns back then, but nobody needed it done. ^_^

I got lucky cause a few years ago lots of the cycling town also let you weed. So I went to this one and it was only me weeding over 1,000 weeds. It took a long time to get it done

I tried to weed another town once, but the lag was so bad it wasn't doable. :(

Oof that must really suck. Like I said I got lucky

Also as we speak im working on my Host Badge. Its a badge I thought I had but turns out I dont!

I don't like online play, so those badges kinda suck. :(
