The 2.0 DLC of Animal Crossing New Horizons (HHP) really, well, opened up the horizons for meeting villagers that you may not have ran into before. You can meet and interact with other villagers that you may not other wise see while still keeping your most loved villagers locked up on your main island. lol.
Have you met villagers you haven't before? Did you find "new" villagers you like?
Has playing through Happy Home Paradise changed any feelings or opinions you had on any villagers?
Has HHP caused you to pursue getting a certain villager on your main island? Who did you kick out?

1. Most of the villagers I met were basically the same ones I've seen many times, but I did see Sasha (the new villager at the time)
2. I mean kind of but most times their dialogue is still the same, but they do ask for different themes even though sometimes they are odd.
3. Ione was the one villager I saw and I kicked out my long time villager "Tasha" for her.

i cycled through villagers a lot in new leaf, so i haven’t run into a villager i didn’t recognize or haven’t met before in a long time. however, i’ve mainly been designing vacation homes for villagers i don’t care for/think about, and i’ve found that that has softened my feelings towards them a bit.

chester is the main villager this has happened with. i’ve never hated him, but i’ve never cared for him much, either, but designing a vacation home for him changed that. i’m not sure if it’s because i really like the home i designed for him or because his reactions to it was so cute, but he’s really grown on me and i’d be down to have him on my island one day! i wouldn’t kick any of my dreamies out for him, but he’s a sweet lil cub. :’)

Meeting villagers that I haven't met before, or meeting and interacting with villagers that I usually wouldn't invite to my island, is my favourite thing about Happy Home Paradise! 🌟

I get attached to my islanders, so I only have two villagers on my island that I'm willing to swap out, and I rarely do. That's why it's been so nice to have a random assortment of villagers on the beach at HHP! Even though I can use amiibo cards, I don't really need to, because I just like to talk to a variety of villagers from the beach.

I don't think I held any judgements about certain villagers, but there were certainly some I didn't really know anything about, so my opinion of them has definitely improved as I learn more about them. I think I better appreciate the eagle villagers now! 😊

I've definitely met a few villagers that I'd be interested in having on my island. I've also met some really sweet villagers, that I probably won't have room to invite but that I love, like Annalisa, Ursala, Gladys, and Maggie. I'm hoping to see Flora soon, because she's so cute.

I have met a lot of new villagers through Happy Home Paradise. Most of them I‘ve seen before, but never met them in game or forgot about them.

I don’t really have an opinion on most villagers. I will simply take them as they are. The only ones I can’t stand are the cranky villagers (although there are some exceptions), and I haven’t changed my opinion on them through Happy Home Paradise.

One villager I really want to have on my island is Maple. I wanted her before I met her in Happy Home Paradise, but now I want her even more.

I'm looking forward to seeing villagers who won't be on my main island. So far I've done Olivia and Purrl, two cats I don't have on my main island. They are such cuties! I'd like to be able to get the other cats I'm missing as well, like Rosie, Tangy, or Kitty.

I've done a couple of my own villagers as well, Bob and Mitzi.

However, it seems like the potential clients on the HHP island I run into are the same ones over and over, no matter how much I time travel. No game, I don't want the same small pool of bears, wolves, penguins and whatever to choose from everyday. 😡 Will they keep showing up if I keep ignoring them? Really want more to choose from. (Like Skye or Julian)
