I've never liked them, even back to the ACGC days. There was one parked outside your door and I can remember trying to dart in and out of my house as fast as possible so I wouldn't have to interact with it.

The only ones in NL that I didn't sell off were the Brewstoids. Those were placed on the stage in Club LOL and left in peace.

I remember visiting in Japan to learn that gyroids reassembled/or based on native grave placements. So I see why they took them out of the game.

Hmm...interesting.

But they do have actual gravestones and other cemetery related items in the game...as well as Lloyd himself. So, it seems like a stretch that the cultural reasons would be of any consequence.

Maybe we'll see if they add Totem poles or Native headdresses in the future?

Perhaps they'll return in an update. I wouldn't be opposed to having something else to collect.

I think there could be some interesting possibilities for using them in outside decorating, honestly. I'd like to see what people come up with.

If they moved around like Lloyd or if there were a Lloyd item, that could add a lot of fun kinetic energy to an island.

I'm mostly indifferent, I found them pretty charming and cute but never had any use for them or attachment :O i dont exactly miss them, but I can see them being really fun items to place around the town tho, so hopefully theyll return in the future

i was always annoyed when i dug up a gyroid instead of a fossil.. but find that i miss them too. hopefully they get added in some shape or form at some point!

I don't really care either way. I never collected them. To me they were just another way to make bells.

i didn't like having them compete with my fossil collecting in new leaf (i just wanted dinosaurs lol) since they would take up precious pocket space and it felt like there were so many if you forgot to play or dig them up over multiple rainy days, but i did like collecting them. i do hope they put like a gyroid exhibit or maybe if they put the cafe in the museum they have a room off of it for gyroids? since i know i wouldn't have a great place to store them without the new leaf exhibit rooms and i wouldn't want them to fill up my storage (because i know i would have no clue where to put them upon finding them)
