Ok, so the day before yesterday, it rained. Yesterday, I dug up a gyroid, but no others. Just one, not three. I scoured my whole town, tore up flower beds, mashed the up button, everything. No sign of the other two. Today, I still haven't found the two out of three gyroids. Do they de-spawn if undiscovered? Its majorly bugging me that there might be two hiding and I can't find them! I've driven myself crazy trying to find them. Do they disappear if you don't find them? Or is there a possibility of only one spawning if there isn't enough ground room due to flowers and stuff? I just really hope they aren't hanging around.

if there isn't enough space ( lets say, just 5 open spaces left )
the 4 fossils will take the first 4, and the gyroids the 5th.

i recall also just finding 1 gyroid after a rainy day, so i don't think it's anything to worry about.

Ok, thank goodness. My town doesn't have a whole lot of space (due to flowers from the beautiful town ordinance), but I've been finding all 4 fossils and the pitfall each day. I'm assuming with those taking up room, only one gyroid could spawn?

Yeah it's likely because of all the flowers in your town, nothing to worry about :)

I've had days where I missed gyroids. They stayed in the ground, and I still got new ones the next day when it rained (I'm assuming, because I found like 5 that second day).
