I often have to roll my eyes in annoyance when I hear someone say "I hate this villager all because he/she/they/it moved right where I want to place a public work project or my apple tree farm etc etc etc. It is so annoying!!!

Especially when they're actually quite cute (personality and look-wise). If you're those people who hate villagers for something that's not such a big deal, you're so judgemental.

I cannot remember where I got it from, maybe it was my brother, I don't know. But there is a solution!!!

Plant custom design patterns on the ground in the exact areas where the ground is "off-limits". This prevents villagers from coming onto that spot. Just remember to wipe it off before planting a public work project there, because otherwise Isabelle won't give the land to you.

I expect none of "LAND STEALER!" anymore now. Got it?

To add on to this tip of placing patterns, I definitely recommend being careful not to overdo the pattern placement because villager house placement does default back to the way it was (prior to the WA update) if there is nowhere else to go which would defeat the purpose of placing patterns.

Also, I definitely recommend getting Amiibo cards to kick out the villager if something goes wrong and to have the card of the villager you want so you can have them back immediately without having to deal with the villager cycle mechanic of the game. o/

Thank you, I was not aware of that, but however that is a great note because a lot of other people don't know about that fact since I've seen heaps of posts still going "Biskit's annoying, if he weren't near my flowerbed, he'd be quite cute." or so and so. I just think people don't give villagers a chance if they're not perfectly placed.
