Growing flowers?

Is there an efficient way to grow a desired flower (hybrid or not?) I've set up ~5 pink roses + jacob's ladder + fertilizer but I only ever get red or white roses. No pink.

Are they genuine? As far as I know, hacked hybrids won't crossbreed. Or it can be your layout. Maybe you planted them in a dead spot. Lastly, be patient. You'll get pinks, eventually.
