greek columns/“posts”?

in NL, there were really awesome stone greek columns (“Corinthian Post”, “Ionian Post”, etc.) that I loved.
I’m currently making an ancient greek island with outdoor gardens, but I’m struggling to find these pillars. Are they in NH? Has anyone come across them?

I’ve already had to surrender multiple visions because they took out/revamped some of my favorite old furniture items and I couldn’t find a work around. I hope the posts are in NH :,)

That’s a shame. It’s been really difficult executing unique ideas when they take out their most dynamic decor. There’s a reason so many have the same ideas on their islands (outdoor diners, cafes, playgrounds), because a lot of the good-looking furniture pair well with those concepts : (

I’d love that! Redd would have a better role if the furniture he sold matches the art or something.

it would be cool if they made the furniture that he sold order able yet exclusive to his ship only! (kind of like the tropical island tour from New Leaf and the mermaid and rattan items!) and then yeah like you said, items that matched his art/his theme!

Maybe I’m hallucinating this but I’m pretty sure you can get ice pillars in the game? I think they’re part of the DIYs you can get in the winter but I could be wrong.

Edit: Yep! There’s and ice pillar in the game, but unfortunately the ones you are specifically looking for your theme aren’t there u_u

Yep, that's the Frozen Pillar! You can even put stuff on the top of those things, haha.

But yeah. I really hope that they add in all the furniture from the previous games. Those columns would look amazing outdoors!

I was JUST thinking about this, we in this community share braincells istg. I was looking through pinterest for inspiration for bathroom and saw a pretty greek inspired bathroom im New Leaf. As people said the only avaiable is the Frozen Pillar, which I think it's very pretty, but I wish these were in the game too!

I have the ice pillar. Tex left one inside the recycling bin when he moved out.

Yes. I had PLANS with these pillars since before the game came out. And nope just another nice thing we cant have.
The ice pillars are nice but...I dont know if it would work. Just give off Frozen vibes on our tropics island.

These are so cool; they need to bring them back. I remember someone else here saying they were gonna do an ancient Greek themed island but I don't think there's anything reminiscent of ancient Greece in this game so rip to that idea. Idk why Nintendo decided to leave out something like this since it's the perfect outdoor item too.

I'm so upset those aren't in New Horizons. Neither are the cannons. I have some ideas, but because of certain items missing, I can't use these ideas now.

yeah i was looking for these too but unfortunately they aren't in nh! there seems to a lot of a lot of things missing like terraces, topiaries, etc... i hope they're brought back in future updates!

OMG I know, I am so upset with these having been removed. I wish they would have made a fencing with something similar, too (Well, not as tall, surely everyone knows what I mean).

NH is suffering from the removal of so much furniture. If it had all of the past furniture plus Pocket Camp's the potential to customize would be so good. But instead we're all stuck with limited options. I really hope they fix this somehow because NH deserves it.

I don't want a zen town. I don't want a giant robot/Godzilla in my town. I want more of a old European style town.

NH is suffering from the removal of so much furniture. If it had all of the past furniture plus Pocket Camp's the potential to customize would be so good. But instead we're all stuck with limited options. I really hope they fix this somehow because NH deserves it.

Yes! It’s shocking how in NL I was able to pull off a historical town without the ability of placing furniture outdoors. NH promised an expansion on that, but all my favorite furniture was either removed, or remodeled to be modern and plastic. They will never be forgiven for what they did to the spice rack...

Heck yeah, dude! I've been working on a European sort of island myself with my brother. The zen stuff looks great, but it's overdone.
