Great villagers but a terrible town?

What do you do if you adore all of your villagers but otherwise loathe your entire town?

My town name, map, permanent pwp placement, house placements, etc...I hate all of it. But I love all my villagers. What do you do in this situation? Sure, maybe have someone hold your villagers, but nobody has room to hold 10 (and I doubt they'd want to), and can you trust multiple people to hold all of your villagers and give them back when you're ready?

The only option I could even see would be to buy yet another copy of the game and move all the villagers to that town, which would take a long time and I don't have the money for another town. I'm torn up because I adore my villagers but I hate the town, which causes me to never play it and never visit them. It doesn't help that I NEVER get pwp requests so my town is ugly and barren and I can't do anything with it.

If I were you I would restart my town to get one with a good town layout , choose a town name and mayor name that you like ...I mean you can get your dreamies back by buying them on cycling threads and use the campsite reset trick ( it can be boring but if your are lucky you may get a dreamie )
You can also buy a second copy of the game and move all the villagers but I think it would be better just to restart...

The thing is that some of them in particular (like Punchy, Bob, and Merry) I'm really connected to and we have a high friendship level. Bob even sent me a letter asking me to promise never to leave and it'd break my heart to do that after he made me promise ;~; (look at me, 30 years old and emotional over a purple cat named Bob lol). Then there is also Tom, who I spent weeks searching for and almost gave up before finally getting him. I also have a bunch of other villagers that I really like (and also spent ages plot resetting to be perfect) and I just...I dunno. I put so much work into getting my villagers and I really adore them, all of them.

If I were in your shoes, I'd keep the town and try and find little things about it that you like. You could end up falling in love with your town all over again just spending time playing with your villagers and trying to appreciate the little things around your town!

Ah =) I know ^^ I restarted my very first town because I wanted apples ( and I hated where the placement of my campsite was ) and it was so hard ( especially cause there was some villagers that I really like ) but I started to play less and less because I began to hate perfect oranges lol , so I decided to restart , and finally I have a town that I really love, and it is so much better now ( and I manage to get Carmen , Beau and Wolfgang =) ) The friendship level increases very fast if you send letters and often talk to the villagers .
If you don't want to restart, maybe should you buy another copy ?
But I feel you , I really love some of my villagers ( Carmen and Wolfgang <3 ) It's not an easy decision to make.

I think that in that situation I would definitely start over, and find a map that I like. You can always find your dreamies again.

I understand very well the connection with certain villagers. I'm 30 too, and I feel the same way towards Cally, Rudy and Bones! If you ever decide to restart your town, I will gladly hold 1 of your villagers for you!
