My T&T Emporium opened this morning, and I was not prepared for how expensive her stuff is! I cleaned out the clothing selection, but haven't bought any of the furniture yet.

I've tried reading FAQs and googling, but I'm still pretty confused on how her shop works.

I know she sells certain series each season, but within the season, how often does the selection change? For instance, today she was selling the Gracie Desk--if I don't buy it, will it be there tomorrow? If I do buy it, will the spot still be sold out tomorrow, or will it be replaced with something else within the series? And will the clothes reset tomorrow, or are they sold out all season? How often do the sale items like the Card Series and Wedding Cake change?

If I wait for the sales, I see that there's a chance that villagers might buy the furniture so I can't and it will be replaced with a "sold out" sign. Is the discount worth the risk of not getting something, or should I plan to farm lots of sharks and beetles to buy the GracieGrace furniture before the 15th?

Edit: Also, I saw in City Folk you could get a discount during sales for wearing a complete "look," is that still a thing in NL?

The selection changes daily, just like with other shops, but the selection is strictly from the season. This is also true during the sales.

I'd just go ahead and buy everything as soon as you see it, except maybe the most expensive items. The discount goes up as the sale progresses, but then the villagers also buy more, as well. Seeing as you have to wait a year for the season to come back, I'd get it ASAP.

I'm not sure about the look, and I'm currently on the island, but once I'm back in town, I'll go and try it, if no one's answered by then.
EDIT: Sorry, I didn't realize I had to wear a look during the sales, and I don't want to TT. I can at least confirm it doesn't work when there's not a sale, lol.

Thank you! It's nice to hear stuff will refresh daily, and at least I already have four of the GracieGrace set from passing her checks so this season will be a bit cheaper. I'll keep an eye out for the looks on the 15th--I'm still scared to time travel (though I've been considering a jump forward of about 2 hours so the shops will be open before I have to go work without me having to spend an hour watering flowers every day).

There is one of 4 furniture sets throughout the year during her seasons(I don't know the exact dates but think of it as summer, spring, fall, winter). Right now it's the Gracie series. The furniture changes daily but will remain Gracie furniture.
At the end of each season, there will be sold out signs and card furniture. These signs are what we imagine animals bought. I believe you can also get a wedding cake during this time.
If you need bells quickly(if you really want that Gracie furniture), people in retail exchange igb(in-game bells) for btb(bell tree bells, also called tbt for some reason). I believe the rate is 1btb=200kigb ^_^

Spring is the Princess set, summer is the Gracie set, autumn is the Sweets set, and winter is the Gorgeous set ^^
