Gracie question

How do you get all 4 fashion checks done in a day?
I already passed the modern one a week ago, but she is in my town today and all 3 of my secondary characters talked to her and got a "theme" I know once you pass/fail and save she leaves...but people are saying they got all 4 done in one day...HOW?
Can I TT to tomorrow and then back to today and she will be there again? I don't like TTing but I want these fashion checks over...if I have to TT day by day to get her again forget it but if I can go to tomorrow and back again, that I am willing to do.
So tell me, how do you get all the checks overwith? I only need 3 more.

You go back to the previous day, and then return to the day you were on, Gracie will remember you and give you the next check, once you have done that repeat the process till you have completed all four.

I am going to take my Gracie checks nice and slow.
I don't want to unlock T&T Emporium too soon as I like to play an Animal Crossing game in real time.

Yes. Go backing a day and then come forward to today. Then do it again until you gotten them all done. I did this just yesterday.

Jason, everyone plays different. I normally play in real time but I want these fashion checks over! I have clothing tying up every room in my museum as well as characters closets and I want to sell it all and free up space.
I paid my money and will play how I see fit. If others want to time travel and get everything in a day that is their prerogative, I don't play that way, but I dang sure respect their freedom to do so.

I guess my question now is, will she remember which checks she gave each person or give them new ones...I have different characters holding different themed sets and my main has the remaining sets in the museum so I need to make sure each character gets the right sets etc and if she gives them new ones then I may as well bust my butt putting all the clothing out on the ground in groups etc.

also, I have a bad habit of explaining myself when there really is no need to...I like playing in real time and I admit I am impatient and sometimes have to sit on my hands to resist the urge to TT. Even with all the fashion checks done I won't get my Emporium until some time next month anyway because you need 30 days from when the TIY opens...I just want the check over so I can have room in closets and my museum again

it would probably be easier if I did use the same one since of course she didn't give themes that they already have stored! My main has the majority in the museum and the themes I had less items of the secondary characters have in their closets...need to go pull all the clothing out of each and use one then. I will be so glad when these are over! Here's to free space!!

I was so happy to sell all my clothes, I really only wear my wetsuit around.

I do like to change my clothes but I have a TON of stuff I will never wear! Once I can sell the extras I will have a more manageable wardrobe that I can deal with. Right now I save everything just in case!

I've only ever done it with one character, but I had Gracie for the second time today also and decided to get the remaining three checks over with so I don't have to worry about her any more.

You pass the first test she gives you that day. Once you pass, save and quit. Have Isabelle change the time back to the same calendar date (dont change the date--just the time) at 5:59 in the morning. Have her load the town. At 6:00 the town resets. You can go and talk to Gracie again and she'll give you a new challenge.

Once you have the new challenge, if you have the clothes, great--wear them and pass the next check.

If you don't have the clothes for the new challenge, you can TT to after nine in the morning when the store opens, order what you need from the catalog. Save and quit. TT to after 5:00 in the afternoon to get the clothes you just ordered delivered in the mail. Then wear them and pass the fashion check.

Repeat as necessary.

Yes, that's a good thing to keep in mind. If you have a villager leaving, every time you cross the 5:59/6:00 threshhold it counts as a day. I had a villager that was supposed to leave on Saturday. Because of setting the clock back to 5:59 am to get each new fashion look assigned, she moved today--and another villager announced that he is leaving next Monday.

Yes, stay on the same day and just set the clock back. You'll know that you've passed the last one when Gracie tells you that she's going to open her store in your town.

I did it this afternoon and she was there every time I saved and quit and had Isabelle change the clock back to 5:59 in the morning. She loads the town and you have a minute to do nothing. At 6:00 the town resets and you're taken back to your house--just like whenever you load the game. Gracie was there wating for me in the town square every time I went back to 5:59.

ok, going to go get all the clothes out of my secondary characters houses then go on my main and pass my second test...then will set the clock back to 5:59am and do it again...will let you know how it went when I am done!

SUCCESS! I did it, passed all three...she seems to like when you mix whatever theme you have with "cute" items...I did one in all one theme completely and I passed but the ones where I mixed cute with the theme rather than using all items from the theme she liked better...cute goes with everything and I have more cute items than anything else LOL

Thanks for all the help, I am glad it is over and now I can go clean out closets and my museum!
I won't get my emporium for at least another 3 weeks but so glad to have these fashion checks over with!

Yay! I felt the same way--I finally get to sell all the clothes I've been warehousing in the museum.

Yes, Gracie does like it when you mix it up. I don't know if she specifically wants her themes mixed with cute, but one of the looks I had to give her was basic. I gave her all basic and she passed me, but commented that I was bland because I stuck to only one style for everything.
