Gracie and Time Travelling

So, I opened my game today and I found Gracie. I was so happy that I would finally be able to have the T&T Emporium after I pass her 4 fashions checks.
So, I passed the first, TT'd back a day, TT'd forward a day, and I passed the second check.
I did this until I passed the fourth fashion check, but Gracie did not say anything about opening her store, and I remeber her saying that in my now gone old town.
I TT'd back a day, the TT'd forward a day and Gracie dissapeared.
Is this normal?

You only need to have spent at least 70k in TIY for Gracie to show up. Spend another 30k (100k total), pass Gracie's fashion check 4 times and at least a month has passed since you got TIY for the final store upgrade to happen. But if you do a little bit of TT (because of the Gracie's fashion checks) then it can be a little less than a month because each day you go back and forward counts towards the total of 30/31 days.

So maybe you still need to spend some more bells or have the 30/31 days pass.

Thanks for your help Rendra! It's probably not the bells lol, I buy everything in the store everyday.
It's probably the days, I'll go check my town tree and see when it was built.

How does the game know that 30 days have passed? Does it compare the day you are in and the day a store has opened, or does it count every single time the game resets in the morning at 6AM. Cause if it is the first thing then I'm screwed lol. My game was in 2017 for some reason and I only saw it after the 4th upgrade of the store has opened so I TT'd back to 2016.
